How to cook Steak-umms

Steak-umms is a brand name for thinly sliced frozen steak that you can find in most supermarkets. They are delicious and convenient, and we are going to show you how to cook Steak-umms on the stove or in the microwave. We also have a few yummy and easy recipes that feature Steak-umms.

 

How to Cook Steak-umms on the Stove

  1. Preheat a skillet or frying pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a dry pan, place one frozen Steak-umm or two if the pan is large enough.
  3. Cook the Steak-umm for 1 minute on one side, then flip it with tongs and cook for another 15 to 20 seconds on the other side.
  4. Remove the Steak-umm from the pan and serve it on a sandwich or in any other dish you like!

 

How to Cook Steak-umms in a Microwave

Place the dish in the microwave after covering it with plastic wrap. Cook it for 30-second intervals on medium heat (high heat may quickly dry out the steak) while turning it in between.

 

Cheesesteak and Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of Steak-umms
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese, grated
  • Slice of cheese
  • Optional: salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, crack the eggs and stir in the water and the parmesan cheese.
  2. Cut the Steak-umms into bite-sized pieces. Cook on medium to high heat, stirring constantly, until no pink remains.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
  4. Pour the eggs into the pan and cook until the edges of the eggs firm up.
  5. Stir the eggs to ensure that they are scrambled and cooked to your liking.
  6. When the eggs are almost done, break the slice of cheese into smaller pieces to help it melt faster. Add it to your eggs and Steak-umms.
  7. Serve! It’s fantastic as a breakfast sandwich with bread or on its own.
