- 2 T bone steaks 2-3″ thick steaks, about 14-16oz
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tbsp freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
For the steak rub:
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
Instructions
- Add onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt to a bowl. Mix well.
- Take the steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Use a kitchen towel to pat the steak dry.
- Drizzle olive oil on the steaks on both sides.
- Sprinkle the prepared dry rub over the steaks generously, making sure it covers all sides.
- In a skillet, add butter and place it over medium heat.
