How to Bake Pumpkin Seeds with Cinnamon

Preparation time: 5 minutes; Cooking Time: 40 minutes; Total Time: 45 minutes; Servings: 1 ½ cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tbsp. butter melted
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp. Light brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the oven and preheat it to 300 degrees F. Also, prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Transfer the pumpkin seeds to a large bowl. Add salt, cinnamon, light brown sugar, and melted butter in a small bowl, and mix well. Then pour the butter mixture into the oven pumpkin seeds and toss gently to make an even coating.
  • To avoid overcrowding, spread the coated seeds on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the color of the seeds turns light golden brown.
  • Once the seeds are done, remove them from the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on top, and stir gently to make an even coating. Serve and enjoy!
